Many people love having a shopping spree in Primark.
With the cost of living crisis affecting many Brits and pricing going up all the time, the budget store often allows people to bag a bargain without having to spend too much.
The only downside many Primark shoppers find is that you haven't been able to order anything on it's website – up until now.
The store has decided to launch a new Click & Collect service that will be rolled out across 186 UK stores. Primark's new service has already launched in some stores and it hopes to complete the roll-out by summer.
The new service means shoppers will be able to access thousands of Primark products through Click & Collect for the first time, across women’s, men’s, kids clothing and homeware.
Customers can browse and order on the Primark website before they pick up up their items in store from two days later, at a time that suits them. The service also gives customers access to new and expanded ranges they may not have been able to get at their local store.
This includes Primark’s new affordable adaptive clothing range, which offers more than 40 wardrobe staples for men and women. The range, which launched last month, has been designed around the needs of those living with a disability in partnership with adaptive designer and disability campaigner, Victoria Jenkins.
One of the latest stores the service is rolling on into is Portsmouth's Primark. Cascades Shopping Centre, where the store is located, shared a Facebook post this week announcing that the service will be available in the store from April 16.
It wrote: "Countdown Alert! On 16th April, Primark is launching Click & Collect in-store! Keep an eye out for our brand-new till desk on the first floor—it’s nearly ready to take your orders!"
Hundreds of shoppers gave the post a like as many tagged their friends in it to share the news. One person joked to their pal: "I'll be sending you in to collect all my parcels lol." While another branded the move a "game-changer".
Talking about the new service, Kari Rodgers, UK Retail Director at Primark, said: "We know that our customers love the convenience that Click & Collect offers, as well as the opportunity to access ranges otherwise only found in larger stores. With the roll out now due to complete in time for summer we hope this will help make summer holiday shopping that little bit easier."
Primark announced it planned to roll out Click & Collect to all stores by the end of 2025 back in April last year.
Unfortunately, the fashion retailer has confirmed that there are currently no plans to introduce Click and Collect in Northern Ireland. A Primark spokesperson said: "While we’re focused on getting this right in Great Britain, there are no plans to introduce this in other markets.
